The ride is shorter than Iâd like at this time of day, but if Iâm being honest with myself, the ride is always too short when it means Bunny will be getting off the back of my bike.
I guide the bike behind the plaza and hold it still as she hops off. âIâm going to go grab some coffee,â she says, then asks, âDo you want anything?â
Pulling her helmet off, she turns it around, looking at it. âIs this a new helmet?â
âMaybe,â I wink. I ordered the small helmet last week, so I didnât have to go without one when I had her on the back of my bike.
âAnd Iâll just have some black coffee.â I slide my wallet out of my back pocket, pulling out a ten-dollar bill. I hold it out for her.
âI got it,â she smiles as she pushes the bill back at me and hands me the helmet. I watch her jean-clad ass sway as she heads in the direction of Lilahâs bakery.
I use the back door to the shop and can hear the loud music blaring from the front as it echoes through the long hallway. I stop at my office, flipping the light on and dropping our helmets and the envelope on the chair next to the door.
With the music being as loud as it is, I can only expect to find Carlos at his station. When I make it to the front, Carlos is bent over, tattooing some dudeâs back.
He looks up, nodding his greeting. âSup?â
âLoâs gonna kick your ass when she gets here,â I say loudly over the music and point up, indicating the ear-piercing decibels.
Carlos smiles devilishly, leaning back over his sleeping client.
I print a few different sized stencils for today's appointment, waiting for Bunny to get back to help finish setting up.
I donât have to wait long.
âSo, I was thinking,â Bunny shouts over the music as she walks through the door, handing me a pink coffee cup.
I hold up a finger at her, heading over to the reception desk, then slide the volume dial down just a bit. âThere,â I chuckle at Carlosâ sneer. âWhatâs up?â
Bunny smiles shyly. âI want a tattoo.â
I choke on the hot coffee, trying my damnedest not to swallow my tongue. My eyes race over Bunnyâs body. I force myself to think of nonsexual things as I feel my cock harden. My God, the places Iâd love to get my hands on to mark her virgin skin.
I canât help but think how fucking sexy a chandelier would look lining the bottom of her breasts, or a fierce lion surrounded in flowers covering her entire thigh. Damn, a mandala starting at the nape of her neck, extending down to her shapely shoulders would be divine.
Fuck! Focus, Jace. âWhat were you thinking?â
I amble back to my station, sitting on the stool facing Bunny.
âI want a rose.â She pulls out her sketchpad, turning a simple rose my way. This specific rose is hanging from a thorny vine.
âThat seems easy enough.
